Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Austin Rodenberg is a pediatric dentist from the midwest who completed his residency at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and Norton Children’s Hospital. 

​

Dr. Rodenberg became interested in treating infants/children with tongue and lip ties when he realized that the complications his son went through his first six months of life were due to an undiagnosed tongue tie. This led Dr. Rodenberg to further his education in treating tongue and lip ties, including receiving a certificate to use lasers for tongue and lip ties from the Academy of Laser Dentistry.

Dr. Rodenberg believes that treating a tongue and/or lip requires an interdisciplinary collaboration utilizing different specialties depending on the patient's needs. This may include; lactation consultants, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and myofunctional therapists.
